Inim from a measure to support businesses operating in the region to mitigate the effects of the international crisis, with reference to the liquidity needs determined by the increase in energy consumption costs incurred by economic operators active and based in the region.
The measure is based on the European Commission's considerations in relation to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, summarized below: "The European Commission considers that the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the sanctions imposed by the EU or its international partners, and the countermeasures adopted have created considerable economic uncertainty, disrupted trade flows and supply chains, and caused significant damage to the economy. -Ukraine conflict, the sanctions imposed by the EU or its international partners, and the countermeasures adopted have created considerable economic uncertainty, disrupted trade flows and supply chains, and caused exceptionally high and unexpected price increases, particularly for natural gas and electricity, but also for many other raw materials and primary goods, including the agri-food sector. These effects, taken together, have caused serious disruption to the economy in all Member States. Supply chain disruptions and increased uncertainty affect many sectors. In addition, rising energy prices affect virtually every economic activity in all Member States. The Commission therefore considers that a wide range of economic sectors in all Member States are affected by a serious disturbance in the economy.
