ATEX-certified Orbis I.S. conventional detectors are designed with intrinsically safe technology, which limits power and stored energy so as to eliminate any risk of ignition even under extreme conditions. These devices provide maximum protection in explosive environments and meet the requirements of category II 1G Ex ia IIC T5. The range includes smoke detectors, temperature detectors and combined smoke/temperature versions, ensuring reliability, safety and compliance with international standards for applications in areas with danger of explosive atmospheres.
Intrinsically safe and explosion proof Atex alarm buttons
Atex alarm buttons are designed for manual activation of fire alarms in areas classified as explosion hazardous. Available in conventional intrinsically safe (I.S.) versions, for indoor or outdoor installation, and in models with explosion-proof (Explosion Proof) housing, they guarantee maximum resistance and reliability even in extreme environmental conditions. These devices meet the main ATEX certifications, ensuring safety and compliance in systems installed in hazardous areas.
Conventional acoustic and optical-acoustic Atex intrinsically safe beacons
Intrinsecally Safe conventional beacons are certified for use in ATEX classified environments in groups I (mine) and II (surface), ensuring maximum safety in hazardous areas. Available in acoustic and optical-acoustic versions, they must be installed in combination with a certified Zener or galvanic barrier, in compliance with the prescribed electrical limits (Uo: 28 V, Io: 93 mA, Po: 660 mW). These devices are ATEX and IECEx approved, usable in Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22, conforming to EN and IEC 60079 standards, as well as being dust and weather resistant, for high reliability even under extreme conditions.
Atex explosion proof alarm beacons
Explosion-proof alarm beacons are designed and certified for use in ATEX-rated environments where potentially explosive atmospheres are present. Available in acoustic and optical-acoustic versions with LED or xenon flashers, these devices ensure high reliability even under critical conditions. They are certified II 2G Exd IIC T4 - T6 (including IIA and IIB), suitable for installation in Zones 1 and 2, and comply with EN/IEC 60079-0, EN/IEC 60079-1 and EN54. They offer an IP66 degree of protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water jets, as well as adjustable sound volume, making them suitable for various industrial and marine applications where explosion-proof safety is essential.
