The WSB1020 base combines audible and visual signaling in a single radio device, occupying its own address to be operated independently of the control panel. Compatible with EWT100 addressable translators and XWT100 expansions, it supports 32 dip switch selectable tones and allows differentiated activation for pre-alarm and alarm. The built-in flasher increases the effectiveness of the alarm system, making the device ideal even for noisy or hearing-impaired environments. It can be installed as a stand-alone ceiling beacon via optional cap (white or red). Communication is via bi-directional radio with dual redundant channels, the range is up to 200 meters, and the lithium batteries provide a 5-year battery life, keeping operating costs low.
