The BDH160 is a self-aligning linear optical smoke detector designed for long-distance smoke detection using reflective infrared technology. The integrated motorized head enables automatic alignment during installation and self-correction over time to compensate for structural movements. The system includes a head with IR transmitter/receiver, a control unit, and reflectors. The infrared beam emitted by the head is reflected by the reflector and analyzed to detect smoke. The standard range is 5 to 70 m, extendable up to 160 m with additional reflectors. The BDH160 is compatible with the Inim loop via the EU311 module, can be powered separately or through the loop, and supports up to 20 detectors per loop (to be verified with dedicated software).
