The Thermocable ProReact EN Digital Linear Heat Detection (LHD) cable is designed using fixed-temperature technology to ensure reliable protection against overheating in high-risk applications. Ideal for tunnels, cable trays, warehouses, and escalators, this digital heat-sensitive cable enables rapid identification of temperature changes even in hard-to-access or concealed areas.
How non-resettable digital heat-sensitive cables work
The ProReact EN Digital LHD uses two twisted cores separated by a temperature-sensitive polymer. When the preset threshold is reached, the polymer softens, allowing the cores to make contact and trigger the alarm. This process is irreversible: only the activated section needs to be replaced, not the entire cable. A simple, effective, and durable solution for fire safety.
