The Thermocable ProReact EN Digital Linear Heat Detection (LHD) cable uses fixed-temperature detection technology to deliver a straightforward solution for identifying temperature variations. It provides reliable protection against overheating across a wide range of applications and environments – from tunnels, cable trays, and warehouses to escalators and other areas where fire risks are concealed.
UL-FM certified quality
The ProReact EN Digital LHD cable is a non-resettable linear heat detector. Two twisted cores are separated by an advanced temperature-sensitive polymer. When the cable reaches its factory-set activation temperature, the polymer softens, allowing the cores to make contact. This process is irreversible: once the cable has been triggered, the affected section must be cut and replaced (not the entire cable). The system is UL and FM certified, ensuring compliance with international fire safety standards.
