IFM Modules

Modules for Previdia Max and Previdia UltraVox control panels.

IFM24160: switching power supply module

The IFM24160 module is a switching power supply that connects directly to the mains (230Vac or 115Vac, 50/60Hz) and provides the system with a maximum current of 4A. It integrates a 1.5A battery charger to keep two 17Ah or 24Ah batteries under charge and has two supervised outputs and one relay output, all of which can be configured (by default set as alarm output, AUX output, and fault signaling relay). Each metal cabinet can accommodate only one IFM24160 module, while a single control unit can manage up to four, one for each cabinet.

IFM2L: module for managing two Loops.

The IFM2L module enables the management of two independent loops, each capable of supporting up to 240 devices. It features a dedicated step-up switching power supply for each loop, which maintains a stable operating voltage in both alarm and stand-by conditions. Each control panel can manage up to a maximum of 8 IFM2L modules, thus providing high system expansion capacity and flexibility.

IFM4R: module with 4 configurable relays

The IFM4R module has four fully configurable relays, each capable of handling a maximum load of 5A at 30V. It is ideal for controlling external devices or for specific activations within the fire alarm system. Each control panel can support up to 16 IFM4R modules, providing ample flexibility for expansion and customization.

IFM4IO: 4 input/output power module

The IFM4IO module offers four individually configurable channels to meet different operational needs. Each channel can be set as: supervised output (up to 1A @ 27.6V), supervised input for alarm signaling, conventional zone with support for up to 32 detectors, or 4-20mA analog input with customizable trip thresholds. Due to its versatility, it is ideal for complex scenarios and customized configurations. Each control panel can manage up to 16 IFM4IO modules.

IFMDIAL: PSTN/GSM communicator module for remote alarms

The IFMDIAL module enables remote event communication via PSTN and GSM phone line. It supports voice calls with customizable messages, digital calls with the most common protocols (SIA, Contact ID, etc.) and sending SMS containing details of events detected by the system. Each control panel can manage only one IFMDIAL module. GSM antenna is not included (optional REM-ANT accessory). For the declaration of conformity and other certifying documents, see the "Certifications" section or the reference control panel page.

IFM16IO: module with 16 low-power input/output channels

The IFM16IO module is equipped with 16 low-power input/output channels. Each channel can be configured as a digital input (unsupervised) activated when voltage is present or as a digital output (unsupervised) capable of handling a maximum load of 100mA at 30Vdc. Each control panel can manage up to 4 IFM16IO modules.

IFMNET: module for connecting two or more Hornet+ networked power plants, up to a maximum of 48

The IFMNET module enables the connection of two or more Hornet+ networked control panels up to a maximum of 48 devices. This module provides two RS485 ports for connection with other control panels, with the wiring done in closed loop. The RS485 speed can be set from 9600 to 512k baud, and a 12V output is provided to power any fiber optic RS485 converters. Each control center can manage only one IFMNET module, and all control centers interconnected in the network must host an IFMNET module.

IFMLAN: module for advanced TCP-IP functionality.

The IFMLAN module provides advanced TCP-IP capabilities for a second connection of the control panel to the Ethernet network. This module provides several useful services, including a web server for control, management, and maintenance of the system, sending e-mail with event details, interfacing with ONVIF IP cameras for video verification, remote communications via the SIA-IP protocol, support for the BACNET protocol (subject to license), the ESPA444 protocol, and management of voice evacuation systems. Each control panel can manage only one IFMLAN module.

IFMEXT: module for the management of a gas extinguishing channel

The IFMEXT module provides the terminals for managing the devices commonly required in this type of installation and the appropriate activation logic. The various functions available on the terminals can be replicated on the devices connected to the loop (with the exception of the solenoid valve control output). Each control panel handles up to 24 IFMEXT modules. The modules must necessarily be combined with the FPMEXT signaling front panel. Each FPMEXT module carries the indications of up to 5 IFMEXT modules.
