HSSD2: high-sensitivity suction smoke detection system
The HSSD2 Stratos suction smoke detection system is designed for critical environments where high accuracy in fire detection is required. Using laser light scattering technology and 3D3 Laser Dust Discrimination (LDD), it detects particles with sensitivity down to 0.0015% obscuration/m, ensuring fast and accurate response. The system supports up to four sampling pipes of 100 meters each (200 meters total) and allows up to 100 detection holes, with 25-hole per pipe configuration and four alarm levels (Aux, Pre-alarm, Fire 1, Fire 2).
Continuous monitoring and diagnostics with built-in LCD display
The HSSD2 is equipped with a front panel with keypad and LCD display, allowing control of operating status, display of alarm conditions, and simple and immediate diagnostics. It comes complete with PIPECAD software for designing sampling lines, and is powered at 24V DC with 450 mA consumption. The system operates in environments with temperatures from -10°C to +60°C and humidity up to 90 percent, and is protected with IP50 rating. RS232 and RS485 interfaces allow easy integration with the network, and the laser system's service life is estimated at 1,000 years, with an analysis chamber that can be replaced every 10 years.
