Stratos suction systems are capable of controlling sections of sampling pipe with metrics ranging from 50 mt. To 100 mt depending on the model and the sensitivities to be achieved Stratos represents a valuable system for early smoke detection.

The apparatus integrates within it an analysis chamber ,protected by an interchangeable filter, with a Laser sensor operating three-dimensionally. This feature, in addition to ensuring effective and timely detection, discriminates very effectively between dust particles and aerosols from combustion. These features make it possible to achieve very high sensitivities suitable for the protection of particularly sensitive sites without incurring false alarms.

A special feature, inherent in the system, is the self-calibration of sensitivity according to the environment where 'is installed, ensures consistently correct and infallible operations ; all without intervening in the set up of the device.

The apparatus is equipped with a connector for managing an RS485 line suitable for implementing network systems or providing information to remote communications. Practical relay outputs (aux, pre-alarm, fire 1, fire2) also make it possible to connect Stratos to any smoke detection system either conventional or equipped with analog technology.

Apparatuses with multiple tube inputs with keypads and displays or with synoptic status indications are available.

Stratos vacuum systems are equipment congenial to be integrated with traditional detection systems. Due to the absence of maintenance, Stratos systems can be used in environments that are difficult to inspect, such as false ceilings or floating floors, which are often removable with high difficulty and cost. It is extremely advantageous to use Stratos systems where there is a particularly dusty environment,in fact thanks to the interchangeable "filter cartridges" the detection system will always be effective and well maintained, with very low labor costs.

With Stratos equipment it is possible to make systems with different sensitivity and intervention thresholds simply by drilling more or fewer sampling holes in the same length of sampling tube. In this way, with the same equipment, universal systems can be made to meet a wide variety of detection needs.

The equipment is supplied with "PipeCAD" software that enables the design and verification of suction systems. Micra 10 constitutes a compact, reliable and easy-to-install suction smoke detection system.

The "Classifire" algorithm implemented within it is able to optimize the sensitivity of the detector according to the environment where it is installed, automatically and without the need for complex calibration operations. Thanks to its output relays (dry contacts), the device is compatible with any fire detection system.
